Q: Who can enroll?

A: Any girl ages 10-16! Beginners are welcome, no experience needed. We create a safe, judgement free zone for every student to learn at her own pace.

Q: What’s included in the program?

A: Each student gets a complete braid kit, all tools needed, hands-on instruction, small group support, cultural enrichment, and a graduation certificate.
Q: What should my child bring?

A: Just a positive and respectful attitude! We provide the rest.

Q: Where do classes take place?

A: Our academy, the exact directions will be sent after enrollment.

Q: What if my child misses a class?

A: We know life happens! We offer one free make-up session per program. Additional make-ups may be available for a small fee.

Q: Do you offer payment plans?

A: Absolutely. We believe every child should have access- flexible weekly or bi-weekly payment plans are available at no extra cost.

Q: Can I watch my child during class?

A: Our program is drop off only for focus purposes. Parents are always welcome for graduation day and showcase.

Q: Can boys join too?

A: Yes! Boys ages 10-16 interested in braiding are welcome too - all young braiders deserve to learn.

Q: Who teaches the classes?

A: Classes are led by Director Joya, a licensed braiding instructor and experienced youth mentor. Safety and skill building are our top priorities.
